Can you drive performance controlling?
As the new Business Controller, in OnRobot A/S, you are the “Swiss Army knife” of controlling in the company. You secure financial transparency in both financials, operations, R&D projects, and Sales. You can contribute with deep dive analytics and performance management. As essential part of the financial team in OnRobots, you play a key role in driving the business agenda and achieving its strategic goals.
Financial performance with data analysis and implementation of controlling processes
As the new Business Controller, the role is still broad and will include both elements of business, financial and project controlling. A great role for you who like to be involved in various parts of the business and thrives with multiple responsibilities. The job is not carved in stone, and it is expected that the Controller will contribute considerably to form the role and the financial department going forward. In your daily work, you will have close cooperation with the Finance Manager.
Some of your specific tasks including but not limited to:
- Perform timely and high-quality business controlling and reporting of the financial results, to drive one set of numbers and create full transparency on key areas
- Drive and optimize budget processes
- Monthly controlling of P/L, Balance, and Cash flow for the group
- Deep diving into analyses on fixed costs
- Production controlling on both costs of time, materials, lead times – analyses of key operational elements
- Analyses of the stocks and logistics involved
- Project controlling
- A supportive role with finance set-up of MS Dynamics 365 where it is needed
Business Controller with analytical skills and an independent work approach
We expect you to have a couple of years of professional work experience from a finance function working as Business Controller, Finance Business Partner, Management Consultant, or the like. Your understanding of the elements of P/L and balance sheets is important. Part of that experience could be from manufacturing companies with regards to strong and solid business controlling, reporting, performance management and standardization of processes.
As person you must be result driven and work organized and with high attention to details. You are outgoing and excellent in cooperating across functions and cultures.
Furthermore, you have a critical approach – curiously wanting to understand the entire process. You thrive working in an entrepreneurial, challenging and changing environment, which you approach with a can-do attitude and a strong drive for continuous learning and improvement. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills make you able to work well with people at all levels in an international organization. The position being as broad as it is, means being innovative and ingenious to work smarter and finding new ways.
In addition, it is required that you have excellent verbal and written English skills. Knowledge of Danish can be an advantage as most local colleagues are Danish.
