LCA Data Analyst – Data and Analytics Do you have a passion for reducing environmental impact? If so, then you might be our new LCA Data Analyst working as part of the Data and Analytics team of PSQIT Sustainability at Novo Nordisk. The position We offer an exciting and challenging role where you will play a significant role supporting the LCA lead in developing and providing environmental insights and analysis towards management. The position is based in Greater Copenhagen, Denmark. As part of the Data and Analytics team, your main responsibilities will be to: Work with and support our LCA lead with preparing, evaluating and producing Life cycle assessments across PSQIT Transform and support digitalisation of the current approach to environmental impact assessment and data management supporting the head of reporting and digitalisation Build up a strong environmental data foundation and seek state-of-the-art digital solutions by either building it up in house or cater towards external solutions Support the implementation of Novo Nordisk’s sustainability strategy - Circular for Zero, by delivering insights and analysis based on data and tools Deliver insights and become one point of entry for environmental assessments among other things by constructing a LCA data library Contribute to develop an agile setup of providing life cycle assessments for early decision making, sometimes with limited datasets Qualifications The right candidate should have the following skills: A Master’s degree within Engineering, natural science, or similar and possibility relevant supplementary training in circular economy Solid knowledge and experience within Life cycle assessment and/or environmental assessment Experience working with software tools/platforms such as GABI or SimaPro Ability to work independently whilst at the same time being a team player Strong communication skills both orally and written with a strong and outgoing profile As a person we are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a fast-paced homogenous team and at the same time can work with a high degree of independence to analyse and solve complex issues. Someone who generates ideas and solutions and is creative when faced with a problem. With an outgoing personality and strong communication skills, also both oral and written English, the ideal candidate excels at building and maintaining strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across different functions to drive change and reduce environmental impact. About the department The Data and Analytics team is part of the PSQIT Sustainability department and is anchored within the Product Supply, Quality and IT organisation of Novo Nordisk. The team has embarked on the journey of reducing the environmental footprint by using data and digital solutions to support decisions, both on executive levels and all the way to line of business. The team is among other things responsible for the reporting of energy, water, waste and CO2 emissions from Production and distribution as well as developing state-of-the-art solutions to support therein. The team consists of highly skilled data analysts and scientists as well as business analysts who drive data analysis and insights on the environmental sustainability agenda for our expanding production sites. The team is currently consisting of 11 people in HQ Bagsværd and three colleagues in Bangalore, India. We work closely with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk to implement the Circular for Zero environmental strategy into Novo Nordisk production thus supporting our overall ambition to have zero environmental impact.
