At DLG Group we have recently launched our new strategy “Creating the Future 2030”. Many strategic initiatives rely on Digital Solutions, IT and a secure, scalable, and efficient enterprise architecture. To deliver on these initiatives we are now looking for a new enterprise architect, that can set the technical directions and make the strategic initiatives alive. The position is new in DLG, and you will have a lot of influence on your job by shaping the responsibility of the enterprise architecture.
The solution landscape in DLG and our sister companies has grown over the years and today Group IT supports and maintains a large variety of solutions and technologies. One of your primary tasks as our enterprise architect will be to define a more simple architecture, setup best practices and prepare our enterprise for a digital journey.
Your organizational belonging and responsibility
Within the Food area SAP-ECC is our core ERP solution. SAP-ECC is implemented in both DLG amba and in our German sister company HaGe. In DLG amba we have also started a transition to S4Hana in a greenfield approach. The position as enterprise architect will be part of the SAP Solutions team in Group IT, SAP Solutions consists of 32 internal SAP architects, consultants, test manager and developers. This means that your responsible area of enterprise architecture will be founded but not purely restricted to SAP and the integrating technologies used in DLG and HaGe.
Within one of our other larger sister companies, Team SE in Flensburg, we run MS Business Central. You will as part of the Group IT naturally also take the technology of Team SE into your daily enterprise work.
Our expectations and your tasks
Due to the high need for more unification and digital transformation, one of your first tasks will be to define a centralized integration platform(s) that can handle data exchange between all our internal solutions, customers, authorities, vendors etc. In particular requirements from our customer portal will be essential to succeed on the integration platform(s).
The discipline of managing and defining the enterprise architecture in DLG is new, so your task is also to mature the organization to operate in a more harmonized and uniform technological way. We expect that you keep yourself updated on technological trends, and together with your business colleagues and acquired business knowledge, promote relevant technical solutions to the digital journey of DLG.
Who is relevant for the position?
The overall aim is to deliver value for the business in a harmonized and unified technological way. SAP is the foundation and core setup for defining the enterprise architecture. However there are many ways into the job. We are not restrictive about your technical skills and level of experience, but your technical profile is of course of interest. We are more focusing on, that you are proactive, empathic, and self-motivating on tasks around enterprise architecture. And that you have the ability to lead on a technical journey and involve your colleagues like Consultants, Solution-, Infrastructure and Integration architects.
As we use the agile delivery method, experience herein will be an advantage.
We expect you to be fluent in written and spoken English. Solid Danish and/or German skills is an advantage.

Your working location will be from our office in Fredericia, but expect travel days to other locations like Aarhus, Copenhagen, Flensburg or Kiel. Our presence in the office is flexible with options to work from home.
