As graduate in Scandi Standard you get to join the leading chicken provider in the Nordic region and Ireland. You will gather international experience, work on challenging and value-adding projects and start building a strong network of professional and dedicated colleagues.
The Future Talents of Scandi Standard
Our graduate program is all about hatching our future talents. The program is highly valued and supported by our Group management team as well as by the overall Scandi Standard organization.
The program is not a one-size-fits-all; Through a continuous individual development plan, we focus on your individual competencies and career wishes to assess how you can best evolve within Scandi Standard while matching business needs.
Each graduate role has been carefully selected to fulfill a long-term strategic need within the business which means that at the end of the graduate program you will return to your home department taking on a permanent role.
The Graduate Program
When joining Scandi Standard, your career in the company will be kicked off with the 2-year graduate program. The program includes three rotation periods - the first year will be in your home department, and the following two 6-months rotations will be in other departments. At least one of those rotations will be situated abroad providing international experience.
The program is designed to give you the highest form of personal and professional development. It will give you the opportunity to gain experience in several different areas as well as a broad understanding of Scandi Standard as a whole.
In your assignments and tasks throughout the graduate program, you will work on a combination of key projects as well as day-to-day tasks to provide you with extensive business insight and understanding.
The graduate program also includes several workshops where you and your fellow graduates will meet both face to face and virtually to gain essential learning experiences enabling you to perform at your best.
Throughout the program, many of our highly skilled and successful managers will also present their business areas as well as their leadership journeys to inspire you in your job and own career.
Moreover, you will have the possibility to develop and challenge yourself, and you will have a strong internal team supporting you including your manager(s) and a personal mentor. Moreover, you will receive personal coaching to help guide you in building your career in Scandi Standard.
The Commercial Graduate role
As a commercial graduate you will get to work closely with the sales organization supporting business development and strategy-related activities. You will prepare business cases and drive projects focusing on commercial excellence, and support ongoing growth initiatives. You will also be introduced to and participate in customer visits, market research studies and commercial analysis and decision-making processes.
Are you a Potential Scandi Standard Graduate?
We are looking for young talents who have recently finished their studies at bachelor or master level with excellent and documented academic achievements in relevant areas. Moreover, it is essential that you have had a couple of years of working experience after or during your studies.
As a person you are ambitious by nature. This combined with having strong analytical and interpersonal skills enables you to get results in a collaborative, fast, effective, and solution-oriented way. You can see yourself being a role model by displaying our company values in your daily work and are eager to go abroad and get cross-functional experience.
You have excellent communication and social skills, and a passion for the food/animal industry. It is important that you are fluent in English as well as in the language of your primary location. We want colleagues who enjoy challenging status quo, who act with openness, can act and react quickly, who are proactive and strive for excellence within their field of expertise.
The Application Process
The application window is open from 1st November 2022 to 31st January 2023. Our assessment day will take place in week 10 2023 (venue and country to be decided).

In this recruitment, we use tests to reduce the risk of bias so you as a candidate can be guaranteed that we have a clear picture of your problem-solving capabilities and your behaviors.

The process:
In this recruitment, we use tests to reduce the risk of bias so you as a candidate can be guaranteed that we have a clear picture of your problem-solving capabilities and your behaviors.
- When applying, we will first check that you fulfill the criteria for the role. Afterwards, a cognitive test called ACE will be sent to you. A report can be downloaded directly after completing the test.
- Candidates who advance in the process will later be sent a personality test called MPA. MPA measures your work behaviors. A report can be downloaded directly after completing the test.
- Candidates who further advance in the process will receive feedback on their test results as part of an interview with the hiring manager.
