Joining us at our newly built, spacious and beautiful HQ in Hedehusene, Denmark, you become part of our Process and Architecture team within Road IT Europe.
The international team consists of highly motivated experts from across Europe. Together, we are currently working towards moving the DSV Road Business away from our legacy TMS and towards a potential future platform – which is part of the digital transformation within the DSV organisation.

Ensure that our systems meet business requirements
Stepping into this role, you will become one of our experts on architecture and business needs within the team. You will focus on the TMS project looking at the requirements for our future system, converting these into an understanding of what is needed before reviewing and assessing the product updates we receive from our vendor.
However, you will also from time to time assist on other projects, providing input and guidance based on both your technical knowledge of architecture and your savvy understanding of business needs. Thus, you can look forward to working with a wide variety of stakeholders as you interact with solution, application and business architects, product owners, implementation specialists and our vendor.

Some of your key tasks will be to:
- Explore business needs and review functional design documents created jointly by business and IT for our vendor
- Review solution designs received from our vendors
- Ensure that solution designs fit with business needs
- Manage stakeholders and present your findings
- Participate in dialogues and coordination efforts around building integrations between systems
Are you a solution architect with a business analyst’s insights?
You are the right fit for this position if you have a solid grasp on architecture, understanding the tech opportunities in a development environment – while at the same time mastering the art of shrewd business analysis.
Moreover, you are adept at managing stakeholders, understanding the need to proactively update and present findings. You also know when to stand your ground and challenge those around you based on facts and proof. Additionally, we imagine that you have:
- A relevant degree within IT or engineering
- 5+ years of experience from similar positions within infrastructure management, software development or solution architecture
- An understanding of application architecture
- Experience working with Agile/SAFe development and DevOps
- Experience working in an international transformation programme
- Great communication skills, being fluent in both written and spoken English
