The Position As a Digitalization and Innovation Manager you will lead a team of data scientists and engineers dedicated to improving and visualizing production data across our production facilities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving Industry 4.0 solutions from conception to implementation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing, diverse, and inclusive team working on cutting-edge projects within our production complex. Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand complex production processes and drive the implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions.

  • Develop and execute strategies to visualize production data and drive actionable insights for process optimization.

  • Foster a culture of curiosity, proactivity, and initiative within the team to make a lasting impact on our production processes.

  • Identify and evaluate new technologies and tools that can improve production processes and operations.

  • Lead a cross-functional team to implement digital solutions and drive innovation across the organization.

  • Manage and oversee the implementation of digital projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in digitalization and innovation.

    • Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in leading teams focused on data science, engineering, or related fields.

  • Strong ability to understand and navigate complexity at a high level, driving innovative solutions for production challenges.

  • Experience working within Agile frameworks (e.g. scrum).

  • Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for innovation and digitalization.

  • Experience with digital technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and data analytics.

    • As a person you have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and can effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. You have proactive nature and strong initiative to drive meaningful change within the organization. You stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in digitalization and innovation. About the Department This role is an integral part of the Business Support Department, specifically dedicated to supporting our aseptic facility. As a member of our exceptional and collaborative leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success and efficiency of our critical operations. Other teams within the department focus on strategic planning, product release, and providing support for site investment projects. Aseptic Production site Kalundborg is part of Biotech & Rare Disease. At our site in Kalundborg, we are more than 650 colleagues responsible for transforming the API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) into the finished medicine for people living with serious chronic diseases. We work with advanced processes such as formulation, filling, freeze-drying in a sterile environment.
