You are,
- Skilled, Cardlay has a backend providing a REST API and both web applications and mobile apps in production so it would be great if you have experience in building frontends for APIs but also willing and able to help in other areas every now and then.
- Happy to collaborate, it’s important to share knowledge, you should be comfortable coding with others and work cross-team with product managers, designers & stakeholders
You will
- Develop features in one or more layers of the stack.
- Participate in the entire product life cycle
- Help product owner mature epics and stories
- Help UX and Designers with options for implementation
- Move new features into production
- Ensure quality deployments together with your team
- Make sure your code is maintainable, testable and secure
- Help the team and department ensure platform is stable and bug free

Some of the toolboxes you’ll probably see are:
- Kotlin, Java, Swift and Typescript/(Javascript)
- Git, Maven, Gradle, Spring Boot, Micronaut, Ktor, Vue.js, React, Cypress, Appium, JUnit and Spock
- Postgres, RabbitMQ, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Terraform, Github Actions
You will rock this role if you:
- Have a robust experience in JavaScript/TypeScript-based web applications, including single-page applications (SPAs).
- Understand the requirements of APIs consumed by frontend frameworks and libraries (React, Vue, etc.)
- Have experience with frontend development tools and technologies like React, HTML5, CSS3, ES6+, and familiar with build tools like Webpack, Babel.
- Show keen interest in software architecture, particularly concerning frontend structure and design.
- Believe in the value of writing automated tests, with experience in Jest, Cypress, or similar testing frameworks.
- Communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally.
- Are proactive, curious, and maintain a good sense of humor.
