In the Manufacturing IT department, we develop innovative software solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. We have developed a MES (Manufacturing Execution System) that is undergoing a major user interface upgrade which also means transformation of our development processes. You will get the opportunity to influence this transformation based on your technology and software development expertise.
You will work on features for our MES system built on Oracle, and at the same time, you will learn the details of the system and build the skills to develop into the role as tech lead.

How you might spend your days
As an Oracle developer, you’ll become part of our MES core team consisting of 11 team members, where you’ll be:
- Developing features for our MES system. This involves all development activities: planning, requirements, design, development, code review, tests, deployment, and documentation, all in close communication with customers.
- Working in an informal environment, with a very flat structure, where we are motivated by high professionalism and with an interest for software development and delivery of solutions to our customers.
- Using an agile development approach, where we focus on working collaboratively towards our shared goal.
- Deliver software according to internal and client procedures. We will train you in our Quality Management System, GxP and compliance.

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- Master or bachelor’s degree in software engineering or similar degree
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle Database, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports
- Experience within software life-cycle processes and supporting tools
- You speak and write English fluently
- Experience in some of the following is an advantage:
- Oracle Weblogic
- C#, Java
- Agile software delivery
- REST API, web API and web services
- JavaScript/Typescript
- Pharma/Regulated business
