Role DescriptionAs Associate Management Consultant, you will own a wide range of assignments and projects that support the management and organisational direction of the 100 employees in a Strategic Sourcing. You will be one of two employees with a similar job role, and responsibilities will be split between the two of you based on skills and interests.Your key responsibilities may include:Participating in the management team’s continuous refinement of the organisational strategy and defining strategic priorities Ensuring that defined strategic priorities are being followed through across the unit, securing that ambitions are turned into reality Taking lead on driving recurring processes, such as the biannual Sourcing Reviews and triennial Business Reviews Organizing monthly management meetings, unit meetings, off-sites and more, ensuring that agenda points are linking to the strategic direction of the unit Creating clear communication material towards stakeholders above and around the unit, as well as for the unit itself to strengthen appreciation and ownership of the direction, on behalf of the CVP and management team Driving ad hoc projects and facilitating workshops which are not or not yet fitting into the established structures of departments within the unit You can anticipate varied working days with many different assignments and numerous stakeholders and provide broad contribution to the direction and value creation of Strategic Sourcing.QualificationsAn academic background in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Organisational Development, or a related field Good organisational and project management skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders Comfort in working with people at all levels of the organisation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Fluency in English (both spoken and written) Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other relevant tools for data analysis, presentation, and project management About The DepartmentStrategic Sourcing is the central sourcing unit in Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply division, and we are responsible for the strategic sourcing activities related to Novo Nordisk’s pharmaceutical production sites worldwide as well as global management of suppliers.You will be a part of a specialist team called Strategy and Business Intelligence, where we collectively assist in strategy development, provide sparring and drive projects within general management, delivery/capacity, quality, cost, sustainability, risk, and business intelligence. This is done in support of the management team and six other departments in Strategic Sourcing.You will be located in Bagsværd, where 21 competent colleagues in the team look forward to welcoming you, along with the rest of Strategic Sourcing, which is a unit consisting of over 100 academics, of which approximately half are non-Danes.Working at Novo NordiskAt Novo Nordisk, we have been changing diabetes since 1923.
