If so, and you are ambitious, strategic minded with a strong and proven track record within strategic supply chain management, you may be the Lead Supply Chain Design Partner we are looking for to strengthen our team in Strategic Supply Chain & Design at Novo Nordisk. PositionWe are expanding our responsibilities and ways of operating in designing the future supply chain. The portfolio of products are divided into the therapy areas Diabetes, Obesity, Rare diseases and Other serious chronic diseases. The purpose is to provide end-to-end supply chain strategies on a product level that ensures that we bring new products to launch in a robust setup and allowing us to develop supply chain throughout the product life cycle. This to ensure our ability to serve as many patients as possible. We are therefore seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Supply Chain Design Partner to join our Strategic Supply Chain & Design department. In this position, you will be responsible for a portfolio of products within a Therapy Area and driving the supply chain product strategy towards launch and post launch in collaboration with key stakeholders. You will be Supply chain responsible for bridging design activities from the functional areas in the development projects you take part in. Main responsibilities will include: Responsible Supply Chain person into product development teams that ensures supply chains for new products are readied towards launch and the Responsible for the continuous development of supply chain design of marketed products within your designated portfolio Driving SC risk and robustness assessments identifying gaps in the physical flow and providing solutions and mitigations Proactively aligning product supply chain design with stakeholders - development functions, Commercial, Business Support functions etc. Support the Therapy Area Lead to align product supply chain strategy to the overall therapy area portfolio strategy Bridge long term forecast (and scenarios) from Commercial into Product Supply area Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or similar with a focus on Supply Chain Management and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in different roles across the supply chain. Manufacturing or commercial supply chain experience is a high advantage to be able to comprehend and relate to the entire chain. Other qualifications include: Solid business understanding within supply chain management. Ability to understand and explain complex issues and solutions for senior management. Strong collaborator and eager to work cross-functionally. Good communication skills High ability to work independently, setting goals defining deliveries to pursue. To excel in this role, it is essential that you possess a strong desire to acquire new knowledge and apply your expertise in collaboration with diverse teams. You must interact with stakeholders in a respectful and thoughtful manner to ensure that accurate information, guidance, and decisions are communicated effectively. Moreover, maintaining a high level of integrity in your work and demonstrating proactive support for the organization in the face of challenges, even if they are not directly related to your responsibilities, are highly valued traits. This could also be an opportunity for developing your already proven supply chain expert knowledge into a broader role with more focus on creating results through others in an extensive strategic network.
