The position One of the top priorities within our Global Supply Chain organization is to ensure a successful delivery of our End-to-End Planning Transformation Program – Planning4Future. As a Project Director, you will be driving the transformation towards success of the program. The program includes the successful implementation of the advanced planning software Operations Management Platform (OMP) as well as the design and implementation of our new operating model and planning processes. Key responsibilities for your role will be: Leading and managing a team of direct reports within the OMP implementation project Developing Supply Chain Strategy Identifying and assessing future strategic projects across Product Supply to meet ambitious supply chain targets Allocating required project resources in collaboration with managers Communicating project progress/performance to all relevant stakeholders, from senior management to directly affected employees Driving supply chain management capability building in central functions and regions To be successful in this role, you need to manage very complex challenges to ensure problem solving and significantly improving and changing methods and techniques in processes and systems. The job will be performed at the location(s)/site(s) within Product Supply where the project is anchored and where key stakeholders are located. Some travel activities abroad is expected. Qualifications We are looking for a candidate who can collaborate, network and work at a strategic and highly professional level with all key stakeholders and maintain a reputation for fulfilling expectations and delivering results. To excel in this role, you have: Master’s degree in relevant field 8-10 years of experience in implementation/integration planning A proven track record of implementing Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) system Solid understanding of the end-to-end supply chain and preferably of the life science industry Strong leadership and communication skills Fluency in English, written and verbal As an individual, you have the capacity to express yourself clearly and confidently, navigate through complex stakeholder environments, and demonstrate robust analytical abilities. You excel at working autonomously, driven by a passion for optimization and enhancement. Your commitment to delivering top-notch results is matched by your pride in meeting deadlines consistently. About the department The Digital Supply Chain Planning Transformation team is an international team consisting of ~12 employees with different backgrounds, collaborating cross-functionally with colleagues within and outside the Supply Chain domain. The purpose of this department is to ensure a successful delivery of the Planning 4 Future program established to enable a best-in-class Supply Chain Planning capability to be able to support the overall growth and increasing complexity of our portfolio. Our ambition is to ensure we always deliver value and can move the overall supply chain capability towards our future ambition. The Planning Transformation department is one of 7 teams in the Digital Supply Chain organization that is anchored within Global Supply Chain in Novo Nordisk Product Supply Division.
