The Position We are looking for a Senior S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) Business Partner who will be responsible for driving the S&OP process while optimizing the end-to-end network together with the Global End-to-end Planners. You will act as a trusted business partner both to the sites, the central business support team and Commercial supply chain. That means you will drive strategies into relevant supply chain actions and flag risks and opportunities along the way. In this role, you can except the following: Leading the creation of decision materials for addressing demand and supply imbalances or optimizing the supply network, and presenting them to senior management Collaborating closely with Global End-to-End Planners to create scenarios for addressing imbalances, fostering strong cooperation with cross-functional stakeholders Proactively ensuring a seamless global supply to patients at a competitive cost, optimizing assets, and maintaining optimal inventory levels without compromising quality or compliance Supporting the environmental agenda, referred to as Circular4Zero Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have: Master’s degree in finance, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or similar Extensive and relevant work experience from an industry leading company or a top consultancy Strong business acumen along with practical problem-solving experience, preferably in Supply Chain or Operations Fluency in English As a person, you are eager to learn, thrive in a dynamic, innovative environment, balancing detail-oriented precision with a strong analytical mindset. With your strong drive, international perspective, and adept communication you easily collaborate with various stakeholders, from site planners to senior management. About the Department We are on a journey to take the S&OP process to the next level. Our ambition is to become a trusted supply chain business partner that optimizes the end-to-end supply chain with reliable data and transparent trade-off decisions. We have already taken several actions, by establishing new governance and have rolled out our new Integrated Business Planning solution to support the Sales & Operations Planning process. The department is part of the Supply Chain unit within Product Supply. We are responsible for several key processes including the launch of new products, and tactical/strategic sales & operations planning where we ensure supply chain resilience & network optimization.
