The position As a Heat Study Specialist, your role involves conducting detailed analyses and assessments of heat transfer processes and systems on packaging and assembly lines. Your expertise will be crucial in optimising heat transfer efficiency, identifying areas of improvement, and providing recommendation for enhancing thermal performance. Your key activities encompass: Conducting heat studies on assembly and packaging lines, supporting the development and validation of transport solutions Collaborating closely with pertinent departments to integrate heat study considerations into the design, development, and optimisation of processes Providing guidance and support in ensuring regulatory compliance, using data to share recommendations with stakeholders Preparing detailed reports, technical documentation, and presentations, drawing meaningful conclusions and insights on performance Staying updated on emerging trends and best practices, integrating relevant innovations into project workflows Qualifications To be successful in this role, we imagine you: Hold at least a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field Bring a minimum of 3 years of practical experience in conducting heat studies on packaging processes, along with knowledge of heat exchangers and HVAC systems Possess solid familiarity with flow dynamics, pressure systems, temperature control, and various components such as valves, pumps, heat exchangers, and membranes Demonstrate proficiency in both spoken and written English It would be considered as a strong advantage if you have expertise in thermodynamics principles. As a person, you excel in analytical thinking and problem-solving, bringing excellent communication and teamwork skills, enabling you to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. You are proactive and detail-oriented, prioritising accuracy and precision in your analyses and documentation. You are equally adept at working on your own or as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team, thriving in a fast-paced environment. About the department You will join a dedicated and highly capable team in DMD, located in Hillerød, Denmark. We develop and validate transport solutions used for transportation of raw materials, active pharmaceutical ingredients, bulk products, and finished goods in . Furthermore, we execute heat studies on assembly and packaging lines throughout . The team works closely with all manufacturing units, Logistics & Distribution and Sustainable Supply Chain departments.
