The position
As Senior Manager of Warehouse, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, directly managing 4 Associated Managers. You will make decisions with a high degree of independence and big influence on the primary business. You will interact with a wide range of stakeholders within our own production facilities as well as external suppliers and public authorities. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing smooth daily warehouse operation in collaboration with Associate Managers and staff Maintaining inventory accuracy – making sure inbound materials are available Implementing process improvements – LEAN Implementing safety procedures Logistics Management The job is ideal for a dedicated and result-oriented manager who enjoys working in a flexible, collaborative, international, and open-minded environment. Qualifications
You have an academic degree in Production Engineering, Supply Chain Management or similar, combined with at least 5-10 years working experience related to the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. To be successful in this position, your experiences include: Warehouse environment and solid Supply Chain experience You possess excellent people management skills including direct cooperation with Team Leads and production staff LEAN/ flow systems knowledge You have strong communication skills both in spoken and written English; ability to communicate in Danish is advantageous Furthermore, you have the ability to work in a team environment, are highly motivated, adaptable with a positive mind-set that can influence your cooperation within the department and with internal and external colleagues. You posses effective communication and time management skills. About the department
Injectable Finished Products (IFP) plays a key role in delivering products to our patients world-wide and is a strategic global network with production sites in US, China, Brazil, France, and Denmark. With approximately 6.300 employees, IFP is a truly global organization with capacity to deliver products globally. IFP holds the responsibility to produce products for launches of all new diabetes products and for high volume and high efficiency production for all continents in the world. You will be part of the department in IFP KA working with Production Support. In IFP Kalundborg we are approximately 280 employees responsible for assembling and packing the diabetes products on our fully automated production lines. Working at Novo Nordisk
