Supply and Sourcing Manager Trial Operation, Controlling & Sourcing Clinical trials at Novo Nordisk Are you eager to learn about how Novo Nordisk develops and run Clinical Trials? As part of Novo Nordisk, CMC Development makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture, and distribute drug candidates for all Novo Nordisk non-clinical and clinical trials. The Position As a Supply and Sourcing Manager the main tasks are to be the primary contact person, to assure good collaboration and timely deliveries in good quality from our external vendors and collaborators, and to follow up if the deliverables do not meet our standards. The key deliveries from these suppliers are both the packaging materials we use to pack our investigational products for all Novo Nordisk clinical trials, as well as IT solutions for running our clinical trials. A part of this position is also a more operational part in order to draw up contracts for the above mentioned suppliers. We work in a cLEAN environment, where we are eager to refine our processes in an ongoing process, so d riving or participating in process optimisation tasks and projects is part of the responsibilities within this position. Qualifications You hold a master’s degree within Life Sciences such as pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, Supply Chain Planning or similar. You need to have a high-quality mindset, and experience working within GxP regulated processes is a great advantage. Ideally, you have: At least 2-3 years of experience within vendor management from a regulated environment Great collaboration and communication skills Knowledge of how to navigate in a GxP regulated field with several stakeholders Experience with documentation; skills within written documentation Knowledge about Supply Chain and Lean principles You seek simple and effective solutions and see continuous improvement as a natural part of processes and are familiar with various LEAN principles. You are a team player and find motivation when reaching common goals. You communicate effectively and fluent in English and Danish. About the department Clinical Supplies Supply Chain Planning is a part of Clinical Supplies in CMC Development. We are responsible for the overall planning of the production, packaging, and distribution of products for all Novo Nordisk clinical trials worldwide. The department consist of four teams, supporting the execution of clinical trials by forecasting/monitoring product demand, ordering product etc, planning the packaging/shipping of Trial Products and supporting the overall Trial conduct at the Clinical Sites with a focus on Trial Product related processes and systems. Our team consist of 14 team members, we have a very good working environment where we help each other, and at the same time we manage to deliver in time and in the right quality for our clinical trials.
