Are you motivated by Supply Chain Coordination, and do you thrive in an international and fast-paced work environment? Then you may be the Senior Supply Chain Planner we are looking for to join our Global Contract Manufacturing (GCM) Logistics team! The position As a Senior Supply Chain Planner, you will run analyses to identify and quantify potential supply constraints, make clear prioritisations and coordinate actions needed to avoid or reduce the impact. You will handle and follow up on orders to ensure material availability according to demand, and manage invoice flow (reviewing and approving invoices). You will deliver accurate and timely forecasts to our Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) and other stakeholders, set perspective to stakeholders on planning decisions as well as determining and monitoring safety stocks/inventory of critical production materials. On top of those more traditional planner tasks, you will use your holistic supply chain perspective to improve our supply chain, ensuring stable and reliable planning, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Your main responsibilities will include to:

Take lead in tasks which have a significant impact within the context of a wider operational area (cross-functional area impact)

Drive continuous optimisations of the supply chain together with the CMO and Novo Nordisk stakeholders

Take charge in expanding the CMO network and evaluating strategic aspects on how to enable GCM to grow

Demonstrate ability to identify better practice and create improvements in processes and logistics flows

Develop your colleagues’ competences and be available for sparring and mentoring/coaching.

Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to:

Have a previous experience in Supply Chain Planning, tactical planning competencies and holistic overview (typically covering several parts of the organization)

Possess strong analytical skills, the ability to convince and get others to take ownership

Be strategic, have both the role model skills and competencies to develop other team members

Take lead on actions, communicate proactively and mitigate risks across the value chain

Have strong knowledge in SAP APO/ECC or in another similar IT systems

Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.

As a person, you are known to be highly engaged, pro-active, not afraid to take the lead and have a positive mindset. You can build relationships through trust and transparency and are able to communicate across cultures. You know how to get commitment from both internal and external stakeholders. You enjoy working proactively, taking responsibility in a dynamic environment, with many tasks to coordinate and execute on, with changing priorities and strict deadlines. Last but not least, you have excellent communication skills that allow you to explain a complicated case in a very simple manner, ensure that the message has been understood and have the ability to translate strategies into operational execution. About the department You will be a part of our international Logistics department in the Global Contract Manufacturing (GCM) area, where we have an informal and direct tone, and where we respect each other’s differences and encourage each other’s professional development. GCM is part of Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply Organization and responsible for all Novo Nordisk contract and license manufacturing of intermediates, drug substances, semi-finished and finished drug products to global markets. The primary role of GCM Logistics is to ensure delivery of products to our respective customers in the global supply chain. We are responsible for all logistics and supply chain tasks towards our CMOs and sourcing of products into Novo Nordisk according to the demand from our production sites and customers world-wide. As our new Senior Supply Chain Planner, you will join 13 highly motivated and talented colleagues in GCM Logistics Planning, located in Søborg. We are responsible for purchasing and planning of products world-wide from our CMO outsourced production partners, and for setting up supply chains for our new CMOs.
