With direct reference to our Head of Indirect Sourcing, you will become a part of the Indirect Sourcing team which consists of 6 skilled and motivated Sourcing colleagues. Together, we are at the forefront of developing and implementing sourcing strategies for 10 diverse sourcing categories. As part of Kamstrup's international growth journey, we are currently implementing structured category management practices. The team is characterised by fun and energetic environment where we foster a spirit of collaboration to enhance our capabilities, raise our maturity and achieve shared success.
A job with focus on IT sourcing and category management implementation
As our new Strategic Sourcing Manager, your primary responsibility will revolve around Kamstrup's IT sourcing category consisting of licenses, hardware, cloud solutions, and other IT-related products and services. Besides, you will drive projects in other categories, but primary focus will in the beginning be IT. Furthermore, you will be working on implementing category management and define the sourcing strategy in close collaboration with our internal key stakeholders.

We are looking for a result-oriented Strategic Sourcing Manager, who will play a pivotal role in contributing to the ongoing success of Kamstrup trough a great business acumen and drive. We imagine that you have an academic background within business, IT, engineering or similar combined with minimum 5+ years of experience within sourcing or IT – preferable from an international company.
As a person you are naturally curious and have a passion for learning and developing which is also evident in our proactive approach to work. You find yourself constantly seeking new information which you use to challenge the status quo and drive innovation and improvement. You hold excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills which makes you able to seamless communicate across all organizational levels both internal and external. Furthermore, you have a structured mindset which allows you to prioritize effectively and remain persistent in pursuing goals.
It is a requirement that you speak and write English and Danish fluently.

- Driving category management and develop category strategy supported by an effective governance structure, including a category core team and category board. This approach will elevate category management to a cross-organizational exercise
- Analyzing spend, contracts, suppliers, supply market situation and innovation etc.
- Executing the category strategy and leading sourcing projects through activities such as tendering, negotiations, and supplier management etc.
- Cultivating strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners and suppliers through effective relationship management
- Ensuring that sourced solutions and products align with stakeholders' strategic targets while delivering an attractive total cost of ownership (TCO)
