The Platforms help enable Maersk’s vision to be the Global Integrator of container logistics, connecting and simplifying customers’ supply chains. Additionally, the team creates the foundation to integrate data, systems, and processes, powered by scalable Digital Infrastructure and APIs.

About the role
Senior Manager defines standard products offered by the platform team and standard implementations. The role has direct reports (4-6) in multiple geographies as the team needs to understand and define standard products for multiple geos. The team work hand in hand with sales team, implementation team and platform team as direct partners to streamline the process of new customer onboarding in a very standardized way and bring visibility to that. In this strategic and customer-centric role, you will work with global leaders, solutions, product, and technology teams and drive business outcomes like accelerating implementation timelines, reducing issues, driving transparency and accountability across teams, and more. You will also be required to build a high-performing team that can help scale the business.

Responsibilities

- Be the voice of the customer in the platform team.

- Define the long-term process for customer onboarding for timely great customer experience.

- Work closely with sales team, implementation team and platform team to create processes to bring visibility of customers in pipeline, prioritize things to be delivered for customers.

- Define the platform’s customer centric KPI’s and build a closed loop mechanism to monitor and report on these.

- Work with one or more distributed engineering teams

- Partner with regional leaders to prioritize customer opportunities, provide platform advisory, and resolution of issues.

- Lead end-to-end logistics technical solution designs for Maersk Logistics & -- Services working backwards from customer requirements, while standardizing and modernizing our solutions.

- Strive to introduce new capabilities offered by the Omnichannel transportation platform in the future

- Manage the demand, pipeline, and priorities for the ECL applications’ configuration and changes required for onboarding new customers working closely with engineering teams & Drive arbitrage discussions, when resource capacity, timelines, or technical capabilities are not matching

- Align with other platforms to make sure we align end-to-end solution design across platforms, the feasibility of the solution and the overall delivery timelines.

- Provide insights and learnings with regard to opportunity profile trends and customer demand, that could have an impact on the roadmap.

What we expect you to bring:

- 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager/Product Owner

- 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, e-Commerce or a similar field (would be a big plus)

- Used to lead Product Teams (PM + Engineers + Designer) and managing business stakeholders

- Experience with managing global teams (in Asia, Europe, North America, etc)

- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decisions

- Great communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

- Ability to pushback and influence peers using data

- Ability to bring structure and organization to the space
