The position As our new Department Assistant, you will be working closely together with the management teams and Executive Assistants from two areas: CIO Office and Global Data Office. You will be assisting with a wide range of administrative tasks and some of your key areas of responsibility will be:
  • Supporting onboarding of internal and external colleagues
  • Booking and coordination of department activities, offsites, travels and social events
  • Supporting ad hoc administrative tasks, primarily in co-operation with our Executive Assistants
  • Advise and assistant on purchasing process e.g. creation of contracts and POs
  • Drive joint DD&IT activities together with Department Assistants from other areas in DD&IT
  • The role will be anchored in the CIO Office, but since this is a split role between the two areas, you will be working for both areas and some of your time will be allocated to drive joint activities across DD&IT. Who are we looking for We are looking for a new colleague, who has a real passion for planning, coordination and running administrative tasks in a proactive and well-organised manner. We imagine that you bring:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Department Assistant or similar
  • A service-mindset and good collaboration skills
  • Preferable high proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of systems like Coupa, ICE, SAP, Concur, SuccessFactors is considered an advance, but not mandatory.
  • As a person, we expect you to be structured and reliable, and to have an ability to stay calm in a dynamic work environment. The department The CIO Office is the CIO’s right hand supporting Novo Nordisk in setting direction on IT and digitalisation. We drive key initiatives across DD&IT to optimise the overall performance and ensure extensive business value.
