The position As Senior Health & Safety Partner, you advise the R&ED organization on all safety and health related matters. Together with a network of Health & Safety representatives, you will take the lead in coordinating and ensuring safety in all aspects of the project activities ongoing at any given point in time. You will act as a trusted advisor to management. Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Taking a proactive role in ensuring the health and safety of all employees and implementing quality procedures and work according to management systems.
  • Coordinating the efforts into ensuring the safety of machines, robots, chemicals, biological material, and economy.
  • Support on reporting of incidents, including identifying their root causes and implementing changes to prevent them from happening again.
  • Coordinating with Health & Safety representatives from various departments and representing R&ED.
  • Training, coaching, and providing mental health workshops.
  • Close collaboration with our Global Safety areas.
  • Qualifications To succeed in this position, you have:
  • An academic degree in Health & Safety, life science, biology, chemistry, engineering, or another related field.
  • Experience in Health & Safety preferably from the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry or similar regulated industry.
  • Experience with risk assessments.
  • Experience in managing and coordinating projects.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • On a personal level, you are self-driven, dedicated, and proactive with great communication, presentation and relationship building skills. You are a go-to person and have ability to engage stakeholders effectively. About the department R&D Investments manages the project portfolio of Novo Nordisk CapEx investments in R&D. We are a team of 6 colleagues anchored in R&D and are based in Måløv Denmark. We support projects globally such as US, UK, and China. Responsibilities of the department includes Project Management, leading strategy discussions and decision-making processes to effectively lead internal partners, Portfolio Management for R&D and Project Controlling.
