As the Department Assistant your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support to three departments in GCM DS. You will be reporting to the Director of GCM Support DS. The work will involve a diverse range of administrative tasks, and you will work closely with other department assistants in the area.

Your key responsibilities as the Department Assistant will include:

• Assisting with onboarding internal and external colleagues
• Coordination of recruitment processes
• Coordinating meetings and seminars
• Making travel arrangements and processing expense claims
• Create a good atmosphere and act as “go to” person for department related activities.
• Support new creative and innovative ways of working.

Furthermore, you’ll be a key person in the departments providing quick assistance to your colleagues with a variety of practical matters as needed.

Qualifications
We're seeking candidates who fulfil the following prerequisites: • Experience within similar roles with administrative and supportive tasks
• Strong IT skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Adaptability to new situations in a continuously developing environment.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.

About the department
Global Contract Manufacturing for Drug Substance (GCM DS) is a unit in Novo Nordisk Product Supply organization and is responsible for Novo Nordisk’s operation of global manufacturing of drug substances at contract manufacturers. Our main office is in Søborg, Denmark. The primary role of GCM DS is to establish, monitor, support, and control the production handled by CMOs.
