The position As Senior Maintenance Responsible, you will be responsible for driving strategic priorities and development within Technical Maintenance (HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing) in Novo Nordisk office and conference buildings. You will take part in driving stable and smooth maintenance operations to ensure technical installations in our building portfolio are operated efficiently. Collaboration with a wide range of internal stakeholders such as Projects Managers, Site Managers and the Real Estate department is expected to ensure excellent operation of maintenance services. Furthermore, you will take part in managing services delivered by suppliers. Our office portfolio is rapidly expanding and currently it consists of approx. 200.000 square meters primarily based in Bagsværd, Gentofte, Søborg and Ballerup. Your key areas of responsibility will be:
  • Drive strategic priorities and maintain design guidelines for Technical Maintenance
  • Collaborate with Project and Real Estate departments and provide technical knowledge
  • Provide input to a 5-year investment pipeline
  • Manage and oversee budget requirements and prepare business cases
  • Support the implementation of new office buildings into our office building portfolio
  • You take pride in making sure that buildings and services, reflect the high standards we set for Novo Nordisk products and our global brand. Qualifications To thrive and succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marine engineering, Technical engineering or similar
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience within facilities management or technical asset management.
  • Proven track record in setting the direction for technical maintenance in at large building portfolio, following up on FM budgets, and investment planning.
  • Strong communication skills in Danish and English, both orally and in writing
  • On a personal level, you are a team player with a service mindset and have flair for stakeholder management as you will be in daily contact with stackholders, vendors, etc. You have excellent planning skills and are used to work in a structured manner with an agile mind-set. You are result oriented and persistent, even when the tasks become complex, and you experience some resistance. You will be a part of the department Office & Waste Operations. The department is located in Bagsværd and consists of 22 employees, who are responsible for driving waste operations across all Danish sites, developing and operating the service model for office buildings, as well as handling maintenance in office buildings and employee transportation. The team delivers service and maintenance through contracts with external vendors.
