Apply now and come join our newly establish Project Management Office as Senior Project Manager in Operational Excellence in Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD).

The position
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for cross-functional projects that have a strategic impact to our aseptic production manufacturing site in Gentofte. You will drive and facilitate your own projects and engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will set the direction for your project team, and be responsible for all project metrics (cost, budget, and time). You will be anchored in the Project Office, a team that will consist of 6 skilled and engaged Project Managers, who run a diverse portfolio of Projects that includes new technologies (equipment, machines, and processes), IT and line improvements. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Lead implementation of projects in and around aseptic production environments from initiation to handover
• Ownership of cross functional project teams, project metrics (scope, time, plans, cost, etc.)
• Coordinate project execution and optimizing project performance.
• Identify and manage key stakeholders and steering groups related to your projects.
• Communicate project progress and performance to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
You will be a great asset to our team because you have:
• A BSc or MSc related to Life Science, Engineering, or related.
• At least 2-3 years of experience as Project Manager, leading projects in production development, automation, or quality assurance. Experience from a pharmaceutical production environment is an advantage.
• Strong change management skills and business understanding.
• Good interpersonal skills and proven experience in working with stakeholders at all levels.
• Have excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Good experience with project management methodologies - certification is an advantage. As a person, you have excellent communication skills. You are culturally savvy and able to build relations with stakeholders at all levels. You are a self-starter, that is capable to set direction and drive results independently. You possess leadership and interpersonal skills, and can engage people, build trust, and get commitment from stakeholders to support your projects and drive change. You are comfortable in a rapid changing and dynamic work environment and can prioritize and not lose sight of the bigger picture.
About the department
Operational Excellence consists of Project Management Office, Shutdown Management office and Process and Manufacturing Excellence. We support the Aseptic Production which is a part of the BRD Finished Products Gentofte and Vaarloese production site situated close to Copenhagen. Here we are app. 725 colleagues who take responsibility for transforming Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients into the finished product that patients can use all over the world. We are producing at full speed on existing lines while building and ramping up new state of the art facilities. Our complex processes require a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and include formulation, filling, freeze-drying, product inspection, assembly, and pack. We bring value to patients by delivering high-quality GMP compliant products in a timely and cost-efficient manner. We drive change by working actively with LEAN and always looking for improvements within our processes, but also in the way we work together to make our products reach as many patients as possible.
