As Strategy Project Lead you will be overall responsible for ensuring progress and updates to the area strategy in Clinical Drug Development (CDD). This includes executing on strategic initiatives, ensure timely strategy-to-action reporting quarterly from all initiatives and take on ad-hoc challenges relating to strategy, implementation, change management, and communication. You report to the Senior Director of the CDD Executive Office (CDDEO) working closely with the CDD Leadership Team. To be successful in this role, you understand to work on mindset change, e.g. on how to instil curiosity in a busy organisation while also being prudent on securing progress in projects starting off with ambiguous targets. You work through preparing and executing engagements with stakeholders and steering groups, support in use of reporting apps, act with interest to learn about all CDD’s activities both in line of business, staff function and towards stakeholders. Qualifications
We are looking for a colleague interested in driving own activities within a strategic office. You bring experience from a similar position in the pharmaceutical industry or from consulting – or you bring experience from line of business with a keen interest to try out a strategic role that will strengthen your cv over the next year. You have a relevant master’s degree (business, economics, life sciences) and a proven track record for excellent project management and collaboration. You drive for results while considering how best to navigate with stakeholders. We expect you to work independently, follow through and be able to manage senior stakeholders in steering group settings as this will be an integral part of your role. About the department
You will be working in the Clinical Drug Development Executive Office (CDDEO) anchored in the Development organisation located in Søborg. We are responsible for driving activities that support the management of the CDD area with over 900 employees who are planning, executing, and concluding our global clinical trial activities and leading our product development portfolio. In the executive office, we support the Senior Vice President to lead the organisation. We drive strategic business processes, lead sustainability initiatives, execute communication activities, manage budgets, organise major department events and support the community of project leaders in CDD.
