Sales Offshore Operations Construction Sales Support
The Construction Proposal Manager support the sales process as subject matter expert (SME) for construction related matters
Responsibilities
- Issue construction bid proposals and take lead on construction scope during contract negotiations
- Assess construction scope and prepare tactical plan for proposals
- Engage with customers to optimise construction proposal and provide clarifications
- Manage and coordinate the proposal scoping with relevant functional areas
- Ensure approved construction budget and project programme to be included with proposal
- Ensure deadlines are met and necessary approvals are obtained in due time
- Review relevant sections of tenders and prepare contract schedules for legal review
- Manage project specific implementation of new products and solutions
- Maintain overview of major construction risks during sales phase
- Implement lessons learned from previous projects
- Support business improvement initiatives to ensure competitive & value adding solutions
- Support continuous development of internal processes
Qualifications
- Technical degree M.Sc. in engineering, construction, logistics or similar
- Relevant commercial diploma in e.g. business administration, economics, law or similar.
- Proven work experience in an international environment with minimum 3 years’ experience working in the offshore wind business
- Documented project management skills
- Experience with sales and negotiations (yellow FIDIC)
Competencies
- Extensive experience in Construction or Service operations
- Technical background (Engineering etc)
- Risk Management competences
- Contractual understanding
- Knowledge transfer
- General HSE knowledge
- Quality awareness
- User of Microsoft Office package (incl. Project)
- Fluent in English
