APM Terminals is an important link between Scandinavia and the world market, and we operate Scandinavia's two largest container terminals. We are the only ones with the capacity to receive and handle the largest ocean-going vessels. APM Terminals Nordics handle more than 50% of imports and exports in Denmark and Sweden. Your employment will be with APM Terminals Aarhus, you will be reporting directly to the Nordics Transformations Manager.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Step 1
- Keeping consolidated overview of project portfolio and ensuring continuous communication and alignment with SMT as part of Standard Work.
- Standardizing project management methodologies and project lifecycle processes.
- Improving success rate of projects, being delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Improving the communication between projects and organization, including all functions and global project organizations.
Step 2
- Improving project management maturity of the organization.
- Creating strong project teams with clear governance structure.
- Providing PM toolkit and training to project managers.
- Increasing sense of community between project managers within the Nordics.
- Ensuring knowledge exchange of best practices between projects.
- Ensuring continuous improvements of PM standards.
- Secure Nordic Masterplan sustainability
- Lead own projects including all standard responsibility.

Internal Nordic:
- Project Managers and project leaders
- Managers and leaders at all levels in organization
- Experts, Business Partners, specialists and officers in functional roles
- Part of Extended Management team Nordics
External:
- Strategy Execution Office APMT
- Project Execution APMT
- Modernization Program APMT (incl. Automation)
- Decarbonization Program APMT
CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor or higher degree preferable
- Greater than 3 years of Project Management/Coordinator experience or PMO experience
- Fluency in local language and English, both written and spoken
- Lean, Lean Six Sigma and/or Project Management certification
- Experience with terminal operations is an advantage
- Have the guts, self-confidence and abilities to challenge, push and coach all our specialists, teams, leaders and managers.
- Ability to drive implementation of new processes and support the organizational changes
- Ability to communicate in an inspirational way at all levels across the local organization and guide them toward the local achievements
- Ability to communicate in a constructive way with global organization(s)
- Results driven with a strong analytical and problem solving skill set
- Have a personality that inspire, motivate, and engage people in all levels
- Open minded, positive attitude and high drive to succeed and break through barriers
- Experience with working in virtual team and working with external consultants is preferred
LEARNING & CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
- In this position, the incumbent will have an opportunity to acquire skills and knowledge in the following areas: Implement and develop a new PMO
