At Maersk Special Projects & Logistics we are now recruiting for a Customer Solutions Manager for our sales team. The position is located in Aarhus.

Key Responsibilities:


As Customer solutions Manager in Special Project Logistics you will be part of a winning team with high growth ambitions within our area of responsibility. You’ll be working closely with Sales to address the customer’s requirements with cost-effective, high quality end to end logistics solutions which can be effectively implemented and executed. You will also:

  • Ensure internal alignment on customer’s goals and marketing strategies. Partner with cross-functional Maersk teams to develop and execute omni channel digital marketing strategies that maximize value for customers

  • As a customer advocate, ensure customer needs are met and account issues are resolved quickly, leveraging resources from across the company as needed

  • Manage the Allocation process and coordinate with customers to ensure they deliver on the commitment.

  • Manage the tender handling process and co-ordinate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive and competitive offer Is submitted to the customers

  • Cover all transport modes(sea, air, road, rail, charter) with support and knowledge-sharing from your colleagues

  • You will develop and prepare new logistics concepts and value propositions based on identified best technical and organizational solutions

The strong candidate has:

  • Relevant experience from freight forwarding, shipping, logistics or similar

  • Experience with crosstrade and incoterms

  • Experience in account management

  • Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written in English

  • A collaborative mindset with a “can do” attitude

  • Commercial knowledge and interest

  • Relationship building skills, both with customers but also internal stakeholders

  • High-level logistics product understanding including how it solves different customer pains
