Sales Global Customer Project Execution Cost Management

Cost Management is a key function within CPX (Customer Project Execution) Bid Management, responsible for delivering accurate, strategic cost insights that support competitive bids and informed decision-making. Our overarching goal is to improve customer value – one of the key levers being the strategic management and reduction of cost. We collaborate closely with regional teams and stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment across projects. We are now seeking our new Cost Management Specialist to join our team. This role is central to shaping cost governance and ensuring consistency across regions.

Responsibilities

As Lead Cost Specialist, you will be part of a global function focused on strategic alignment and direction for cost management in offshore wind.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Organizing the quarterly cost release process and coordinating updates across reference sites
  • Aligning scope, schedule, and cost changes with regional teams
  • Managing stakeholder relationships across regions and functions to ensure clarity and alignment
  • Supporting the implementation of a global SAC cost model and contributing to process standardization
  • Providing strategic insights and recommendations based on cost data to support bid strategies
  • Managing global cost governance

As part of our transformation journey, we are transitioning from Excel-based cost models to a unified global SAP SAC platform. You will play a key role in this transition, monitoring and managing cost levels to ensure progress from current baselines toward defined cost-out targets.

Qualifications

To deliver in this role, we believe that you bring the following experience

  • Master’s degree in finance or similar field
  • Significant experience in cost management, financial modeling, or bid support
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex modeling and data analysis
  • Familiarity with SAP SAC
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Experience of working in a global or matrix organization or related environment

Additional information

This position is based in Aarhus, Denmark where our team and several other stakeholders are located. The role requires the ability to work on-site on a weekly basis. Travelling will be expected, up to 25 days per year.
