Do you want to combine your management skills and your SAP knowledge by developing a team of great engineers?[xxxxx] IS Infrastructure Services & Operation (IS&O) is right now looking for a new Senior Manager to run one of the largest and most modern SAP environments in Denmark and support our amazing global ERP Services team.You will be the Manager of a diverse team consisting of 13 skilled and experienced engineers located in Denmark, China and the Philippines, operating 24/7, as well as multiple external consultants.The position can be located at our HQ in Bjerringbro, Denmark or in Manila, Philippines.

[xxxxx] is in the midst of the digital journey and has migrated our SAP ERP Platform to S/4HANA in 2021. In the coming years, our SAP application landscape will be migrated to on-prem HANA and Cloud SaaS, and we have already begun this journey. What is the job about?
What is the job about?As Senior Manager, your primary goal is to ensure a successful migration of the SAP application landscape and lead the team to operate and support the SAP platform to a best-in-class level.Your key areas of responsibility will include:

• Take an active part in fulfilling the strategic plans for the IT organization and the IS Infrastructure Services & Operation area

• Ensure competencies, team performance and quality of deliverables through guidance, direction setting and motivation of the team members

• Being responsible for people, solutions, budgets, assets etc. within own department

• Delivery / Service Area Management

• SAP Platform and Architecture. Drive architecture direction and dialogues

• SAP basis deliverables

• “SAP Active Attention” agreement

• Vendor and contract management. Licenses and subscriptions accountable

• Auditing the SAP Platform (with external vendor)
“The Senior Manager is leading ‘out, to the side and up’ which mean that focus is on strategy, organization and deliverables -as well as interaction with the key stakeholders within specific functional areas of [xxxxx] like Finance, HR, IS Partners and external vendors. What do you need to apply?

We imagine that you have a relevant educational background combined with several years of relevant experience.What do you need to apply?Maybe you are an experienced Manager within the IT environment, or you can be an SAP expert with indirect leadership experience looking for a manager position. Either or, you have:

• General SAP platform and architecture knowledge

• Experience migrating SAP applications

• Experience leading a global team – direct or indirect management is beneficial

• Good presentation and communication skills, and you speak and write English fluently. Danish is a plus.As a person, you are open-minded with great empathy and strong interpersonal skills. You see yourself as an outgoing team player, who can easily partner up with both internal colleagues and external partners or vendors.
