We are looking for an Energy Manager to join our organization in a new role to lead the development of energy efficiency strategy and interesting projects in Finland and the Baltic area. You can be located in Finland, Estonia or Lithuania and the position requires the willingness to travel when needed. In this role, there are around 50-80 travel days per year and business trips usually last 1-2 days. You will be part of the Finland and Baltics technical team and report directly to the technical director.
This is what you will do
In this role, you lead our energy strategy development and implementation with the technical team and the local teams. You will be responsible for leading all energy efficiency projects in our Fresh Bakery Business Area and as project manager, a big part of your role is to lead both internal and external target groups in a goal-oriented manner. Part of the energy strategy is to plan and manage the energy efficiency roadmap and make sure that the related topics are also understandable for our production managers and operators. Monitoring and utilization of legislation and energy subsidies, forms the basis to the energy strategy.
You need this to thrive and succeed
We expect you to have a relevant degree from electrical engineering or energy technology studies. Former experience from process industry either in line or development responsibility or managerial experience from a matrix or line organization, will be the basis to thrive and succeed in this new position. As the role needs cooperation with different stakeholders in different countries in Finland and Baltics area, former experience from multicultural organizations and roles will be seen as asset.
The person we are looking for also has the following skills:
- Strong knowledge about energy in industry processes
- Shows a cost-effective and goal-oriented way of thinking
- The ability and skills to manage a matrix organization and different projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player attitude with holistic approach
- Former experience with CI tools and processes
- Proficiency in English language
