We are seeking a

Solution Manager (Power BI)


to fulfill a key role in our ICT organization, catering to the ever-growing demand for relevant data to support effective decision-making. This position will play a vital part in Nevel’s digitalization strategy, ensuring that our business operations remain at the forefront of industry advancements. Join us in this exciting opportunity to drive Nevel’s success forward with your expertise and innovative thinking.

The impact you’ll make in this role

We are excited to offer a highly impactful and challenging role of developing Nevel’s data and ML platforms, as well as managing our PowerBI reporting. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, along with a comprehensive understanding of business reporting, which will enable to generate ideas for enhancements and identify new opportunities for data utilization.

Beyond the scope of reporting development, you will be a contributor to Nevel’s digitalization strategy, acting as a liaison between technical platform development, business units, and external partners. As the primary point of contact for digitalization-related matters, you will be responsible for maintaining a development backlog of tasks and monitoring progress towards achieving milestones.

The work is fast paced, demanding, and intellectually stimulating. We look for candidates with the following:

  • relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in e.g., energy or information technology
  • familiar with improving BI reporting and other data opportunities and good understanding of how to use data crunching as a competitive advantage
  • experience from Azure Eco system, software development and Power BI is an asset
  • a team player with good business acumen that makes things happen
  • understanding of energy sector terms and definitions
  • fluency in Finnish and English
  • committed to a climate positive future, we drive societal impact by co-creating local circular economies and driving transformation to CO2 emission free energy production.

The position is based in our Vantaa office. We apply a hybrid work model where remote work is an option, but we hope to see you at the office frequently too.
