How you might spend your days
The role as a Senior Engineering Manager is a key role in the project’s management team with responsibilities being:
- Lead and direct the engineering team on the specific project including on-the-job training and development of team competences.
- Lead and coordinate inter-disciplinary design activities to achieve design synchronization and alignment with design requirements.
- Manage consistency of design output and compliance with codes and regulations.
- Lead and define project strategy for cross-disciplinary reviews.
- Change and scope management to achieve effective control and risk management of changes.
- Earned value management and follow-up on overall project progress.
- Lead and manage strategy and plan for project handover.
Lead design alignment between the client and NNE throughout the project lifecycle, facilitating clarifications and fulfilment of client expectations.

The miles you’ve walked
To apply for the position there are some things that are needed, and others are a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- You have an engineering degree or similar and proven track record in a project delivery role within engineering.
- You have leadership experience.
- You have pharma experience.
- You have project experience from Basic Design, Detailed Design, Construction, Commissioning, Verification and Handover.
- You are fluent in Danish and English (spoken and written).
