About the role
We are offering an exciting career opportunity in a company with international presence and sky-high ambitions with national and international customers. Our new colleague will have an important leadership role and will have the opportunity to have a strong impact on the company's results. You will have the opportunity to take the Senior Construction Management role to the next level.
You will join our Project Management area consisting of approximately 250 highly skilled project employees. By joining a global company, you can expect some work-related travelling, approximately 1-2 weeks yearly, but your daily work will take place in the Kalundborg area.

As Senior Construction Manager with a mechanical or electrical background, you have a fundamental desire to make a difference by securing a safe construction/ commissioning site and delivering high quality, on-time solutions. As Senior Construction Manager, you will:
- Be responsible for the management of cross disciplinary construction planning and plan of construction contractors in according to customer requirements and expectations
- Develop and implement robust commissioning strategies together with the Commissioning Manager
- Have daily coordination meetings with contractors
- Conduct monthly progress reporting
- Have weekly coordination meetings with key stakeholders – Work Package Owner (WPO), client, etc.
- Secure that we prioritize safety by demonstrating clear leadership in this respect
- Adhere to the strategy in the Construction/ Commissioning areas according to 's overall strategy
- Ensure project compliance within the quality system, standards and methods, including OurWiki, are the basis for execution as applicable
Who you are

- Are highly experienced within Construction, Commissioning & Safety Management
- Have a solid leadership background and experience from a similar position working with project teams
- Have an understanding of project governance structures
- Are experienced working closely with customer Project & Construction managers and key project team members
- Have good stakeholder management skills and take part in coordinating with customers
- Assist customers in understanding project deliverables and consequently resource/competence requirements
The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in Construction management, preferably from Pharma & Biotech industries but other process driven construction sites can also be of relevant
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction planning, monitoring and controlling of project time and performance as well as proactive opportunity / risk management
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar
- A proven history on effective delivery of complex and large volume construction projects in compliance with agreed cost, schedule and quality targets and in compliance with legal, regulatory and internal Group guidelines and requirements
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written (fluent in Danish is a plus)
