We Offer

Reporting to the Head of Global Security and Business Resilience, the Senior Corporate Crisis Manager is responsible for ensuring there continues to be a solid structure around crisis preparedness and organised coordination related to handling actual crisis. This role is based in Copenhagen and sets the global standards for crisis management across APMM through a string governance structure, oversees implementation and coordinate actual crisis of a serious nature.

Key responsibilities

Governance, assurance and capacity building

  • Own and manage the governance structure for Crisis Management across the business

  • Promote and educate crisis focal points to ensure we aligned on plans and exercises

  • Maintain regular contact to the focal points for crisis management in brands and support them with advice, templates, training material etc.

  • Ensure the Intranet-webpage is updated with latest CMPs and supporting documentation


Crisis preparedness and response

  • Act as the Crisis Coordinator together with the Head of Global Security & Business Resilience in crises that involves HQ

  • Responsible for day-to-day maintenance and development of the crisis management structure ensuring both plans and associated documents are kept updated and aligned to extent possible.

  • Plan and execute regular exercises to ensure CMT members, their substitutes and key functional experts know their roles and responsibilities and how to interact/work together in crisis situations.

  • Coordinate post incident reviews after live crisis and major exercises and ensure learnings are documented and those that owns actions implement these

  • Liaise closely with the BCM team and proactively support Business Resilience concept further aligning CM and BCM into more cohesive structure benefiting the business and our customers


We’re looking for

You will have quite a mature setup available to you, and therefore your background does not necessarily have to be strong in crisis management. Actually, if you think that maybe your profile is a bit too untraditional for the role, chances are that you are exactly what we need. It’s much more important that you have a drive for coordination, for engaging leaders and subject matter experts and that you are good at keeping calm in complex situations. Furthermore, it is a big advantage if you are good at establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships across functions and management levels.

This ability is more important to us as we believe that almost anything else can be taught if you have the willingness to do so. We therefore expect from you that you are willing to learn and listen.

You might have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree education in international studies, crisis and risk management, business administration or similar.

Maybe you have some experience in response coordination, crisis management or emergency response. But most importantly – you are good at coordination and stakeholder engagement. Prior leadership or expert engagement experience may be relevant as it will be you who should lead and guide crisis management efforts across the business without the stakeholders necessarily reporting to you directly.

As we are a people driven, we need you to be able to establish effective working relationships with key stakeholders and gatekeepers globally by having them trust in your ability to deliver and help keep calm and collected during sometimes stressful times. This requires that you can communicate in English at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
