In this role you will take the helm in leading the Supplier Resilience Program and the Application Resilience Program, playing a critical role in ensuring the resilience of our supply chain and applications, respectively.

You will liaise closely with colleagues across Technology, Cyber Security, Functional Product Owners and others based on need.

This role also encompasses other key areas of responsibility aimed at bolstering organizational resilience, supporting transformation initiatives, and contribute to the future state digitalization of the business resilience function.

Key responsibilities:

You will Support Senior Regional BR Managers in functional input for the Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) to ensure organizational readiness and swift recovery in the face of disruptions. Focus are centered around input on technology and suppliers

You will Lead the design and implementation of a robust supplier resilience program. Collaborate with stakeholders to assess supplier risks, establish resilience criteria, and monitor compliance to ensure the continuity of critical goods and services.

You will also Lead the development and implementation of an application resilience program, in close collaboration with IT teams and business stakeholders. Directly responsible for the process identifying our critical applications (MVC) and the regular maintenance of same. Identify critical applications, assess risks, and design comprehensive strategies for monitoring, testing, and recovering from application failures or cyber-attacks.

Other key tasks:

  • Lead efforts establishing process resilience with FPOs so there are clear and well-defined procedures for maintaining manual process resilience for critical operations/applications in the event of technology infrastructure loss. Identify alternative manual methods and contingency measures to sustain essential functions and ensure near to uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to meet customer requests, enquiries, audits or the like with focus on technology, cyber and supplier resilience. Ensure all required internal stakeholders are gather and heard and ensure we deliver as one company despite many departments will be involved
  • Support the transformation of the business resilience function by implementing innovative practices, methodologies, and frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and foster a culture of continuous improvement and preparedness.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years overall experience with at least 5 years in the logistics industry or similar role (tech/supplier resilience).

You have good knowledge corporate technology design principles, cyber security and strong knowledge of principles associated with Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO).

BCI certification (or equivalent) desirable.

Furthermore you:

  • Have strong interpersonal and team working skills with a “self-starter” attitude
  • Should have a strategic and analytic mind-set and have experience of working with multiple stakeholders across cultures and seniority
  • Are able to zoom in on the relevant details while keeping the holistic overview at the same time.
  • Are structure and detail-oriented
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and engage confidently with leaders at all levels
