As our colleague is moving on to other adventures in Pandora, we are now looking for a senior professional to join. Together with the Global Strategy & Business Development Management Team, you will develop the function to drive the strategic growth agenda in Pandora. You will lead a strong team and together drive large and complex strategic projects across the organisation to deliver future growth. Your key areas of responsibility will be to:
- Be a strategic sparring partner and advisor to the senior leadership team of Pandora, backing the decisions with insights and complex problem solving
- Lead and develop team members
- Drive large and complex projects independently with many stakeholders involved, many sub-workstreams / deliverables and high cross-functional project management requirements
- Identify new growth opportunities through in-depth analyses and hypothesis driven approach – and play a key role in making them come alive
- Manage and work together with multiple project resources e.g., other Business Development professionals, colleagues from other departments or external consultants
- Play a key role in identifying strategic challenges and solutions – with active follow through to ensure well-planned execution and full implementation
- Present key findings to senior leadership with impact
- Be internal project lead and sparring partner to strategic projects with consulting support to ensure successful delivery and internal anchoring across the business
- Focus on strategy and growth-related projects, but also PMO of various multifunctional and transformational initiatives
Proactive, visionary and structured leader
We are looking for a professional who thrives in a dynamic, changing and fast-paced environment. You have a proactive, humble and ambitious attitude, and we envision that you are a team player who is keen to make the team and Pandora succeed together as a group. You have proven team leadership skills and strong skills which gives you the ability to develop your team and the wider Business Development function.
You have a strong analytical mind-set based on quantitative and qualitative skills, and you have the ability to transfer this knowledge to others in a structured and simple way through good story telling, problem-solving and detail-oriented material reviews. Furthermore, we hope to see that you can demonstrate:
- Minimum six-seven years of experience working with a top Management Consulting company and/or from an in-house strategy unit in a larger company
- Proven ability to lead and develop high performing professionals and teams
- Experience from working within a consumer-oriented business (e.g., FMCG, retail, branded consumer goods etc.) as consultant or in-house is considered an advantage
- A Master’s degree within Finance, Economics, Investment, M&A, Strategy, or similar
- Strong project management skills
- Professional English language skills - language skills from one of our key markets will be an advantage
- Tech-savviness with excellent skills in PowerPoint and Excel allowing you to ensure high-quality products
