NNIT is looking for an experienced Financial Controller

We are a global business integrated finance unit which focuses on providing value-added services for our board, management, and line management. Our company has a history of data-driven decision-making, and we are enriched with large amounts of financial data, which the finance function is owning. Therefore, there is a large dependency and trust in the finance function.
As our new Senior Controller, you will be joining a great team of dedicated and professional colleagues. You will work out of our headquarter in Copenhagen, and you will report to the Director of Finance.
Your responsibilities as Senior Controller
To succeed in this job, it is important that you collaborate with your colleagues and build a good and trustful relationship with your stakeholders globally. You are eager to learn new things and can adapt to new ways of working quickly, as we continuously rethink our finance processes and build our capabilities within controlling. This means that you should be curious, ask questions and suggest solutions.
Your qualifications
Since we are a global company, you will be involved in cross-cultural collaboration, and it is a requirement that you communicate on a high level in written and verbal English as well as in Danish.
The ideal profile is currently working as an auditor or as a financial controller and have a solid education as a cand. merc. aud. or HD (R) or equivalent.

Your responsibilities as Senior Controller
- Responsibility for the month-end process, including preparation of reconciliations as well as review and quality control of other reconciliations and documentation for selected areas of the parent company in Denmark
- Financial controlling including controlling of projects and support to project managers
- Other support to the organization on accounting related topics etc.
- Responsibility for preparing material for the audit
- Participation in projects and ad hoc tasks, including participation in the implementation of new systems and processes
- Participate in optimizing projects on financial processes and accounting policies as well as maintaining and strengthening internal controls

Your qualifications

- Proven track-record from similar controlling position or from your work as an auditor.
- Sound analytical skills within financial information
- Strong skills in both bookkeeping, processes and IT, including a good understanding of relationships in systems and processes.
- Strong IT skills and is an experienced user of ERP systems and Excel
The ideal profile is currently working as an auditor or as a financial controller and have a solid education as a cand. merc. aud. or HD (R) or equivalent.
