You will be joining the Cost Engineering and Risk Management department. This area is responsible for developing a continuous process on strategic issues as well as Risk Management and all reporting on these matters to the Project Executive Management. You will become part of a team of highly skilled and experienced colleagues with high engagement and focus on delivering good results.
How you might spend your days
As Risk Engineer, you’ll be working with the risk framework at project level supporting management decisions in Novo Nordisk Engineering by providing prudent risk insights and overarching risk control. You will also be responsible for facilitating the risk process, developing, and following thru on risks and mitigating actions, where you’ll be:

How you might spend your days
As Risk Engineer, you’ll be working with the risk framework at project level supporting management decisions in Novo Nordisk Engineering by providing prudent risk insights and overarching risk control. You will also be responsible for facilitating the risk process, developing, and following thru on risks and mitigating actions, where you’ll be:
- Responsible for the on-going execution of the risk process are pro-actively identified and managed
- Assisting in clearly defining the risk, following up on risk mitigating actions and follow necessary escalation protocols
- Facilitating the risk assessment workshops and processes within the project team
- Supporting the Project Managers to evaluate risks, report, and present them to steering group
- Optimizing, develop, and maintain our Risk Management Framework
- Coordinating risk workshops and create a risk awareness culture within the organization
- Participating in continuous improvement activities within the organization
Who you are

- Have a solid experience within Risk Management, typically from an international bio/pharma/construction/oil and gas industry

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- Holds a relevant academic degree (e.g., Bachelor’s or similar from a technical background)
- You have minimum 6-8 years of experience from above mentioned industries
- You speak and write Danish and English
The position requires a good sense of humor, innovative and open mindset, well developed interpersonal skills and great competences in communication, as you will work closely together with many different layers in the organization. A sense for discretion and confidentiality is essential
