With direct reference to our Executive Vice President/CFO, you will oversee our Commercial & Legal Services function and hereby become a member of the Kamstrup Management Team. You will lead a global function of more than 20 employees located in Denmark and USA. You will have direct report from 5 managers who is organised in functions within legal advisory, compliance, contract- risk- and bid management as well as IP.
A job with focus on leadership and development of a global function
In the position as Group General Counsel/Vice President for Commercial & Legal Services, you will be overall responsible for ensuring a continuous development of the legal, IP and bid management functions in Kamstrup globally to support our ambitious growth strategies. You will hereby be responsible for all risk management activities and legal advice on our commercial activities in an international setting.

Personality matters
We are looking for a talented Group General Counsel/Vice President for Commercial & Legal Services, who can take the function to the next level. We imagine that you have an educational background as Master of Laws, combined with an education as Attorney-at-Law. MBA or similar commercial training will be an asset. Moreover, you are experienced in developing effective strategies within an international legal function, and you have a proven track record in developing a global legal function.

- Improve the maturity of compliance, contract management, enterprise risk management, bid management and IP rights
- Ensure the team has the right competencies for future global growth

- At least 5 years’ experience as inhouse lawyer supporting and advising top management in a wide range of legal topics
- Experience with implementing legal risk mitigation solutions within relevant areas, particular in relation to contract management, compliance, bid management and IP/trade secrets
- Experience with entity management and good corporate governance in relation to branches and subsidiaries
- Experience with IP strategy, securing IP freedom to innovate and handling IP disputes
- Experience with insurance and claims handling is a plus
