Opportunity
As a Finance Business Partner in the Energy Transition Finance team, you
will be providing insights to execute Maersk’s decarbonisation strategy. As a
trusted partner, you will work closely with senior stakeholders both within
the Energy Transition team and across Maersk to support the company's
ambitious goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2040.Description
- Monthly reporting of Energy Transition financial performance and metrics
- Support the development of short- and long-term renewable fuel sourcing strategies to deliver on decarbonisation commitments.
- Engage with the ECO Delivery Product team and Regional teams to ensure product ambitions and CO2 reduction targets are realised.
- Drive the development of control mechanisms to enable that the Fuel Sourcing and Product teams have a clear execution mandate based on tangible financial guardrails.
- Take ownership of the process integrity of Maersk’s ECO Delivery Product including project responsible for internal and external audits.
- Support the development of Maersk’s strategic response to new environmental regulations such as EU-ETS, CII, FuelsEU etc.
- Supporting and driving financial planning and forecasting processes, ensuring decarbonization initiatives are captured in financial plans.
- Develop and operate performance management framework for monitoring Maersk’s decarbonisation KPIs
- Building productive relationships with relevant internal stakeholders/functions.
- Actively driving engagement across the Decarbonization Finance team.
Who are we looking for
- At least 4 years of experience with financial analysis, consulting, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex material to Senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience with forecasting and simulation models for financial planning.
- A team player who can navigate a complex stakeholder landscape.
- Ability to structure work plans for proactive planning of timely deliverables.
- Can cope with change and handle uncertainty.
- Passionate about ESG and decarbonization
- Fluent in written and spoken English. Danish is not required.
- Experience from fuel and energy industry is an advantage, but not a requirement.
