Apply today for a life-changing career! The position We offer the opportunity of becoming part of our project team and taking part in the clinical development of new products. We need one statistician in the Cardiovascular & Kidney project area, where we are currently planning several development programs for the treatment of cardiovascular, kidney and other serious chronic diseases. Consequently, we have several clinical trials both in conduct and in planning. We do also need a statistician in the Rare Disease project area, where we are in the submission phase of a new treatment for bleeding disorder and at the same time supporting ongoing phase 3 trials. We are looking for statisticians who can contribute to the clinical trial development and your responsibilities in both jobs will be:

Represent Biostatistics in a cross-functional trial team (with data managers, medical doctors, safety surveillance advisers, and medical writers)

Take an active role in evaluating clinical trial data, assessing the impact of data quality on the statistical analyses, and performing sample size calculations

Explain statistical requirements and concepts to stakeholders e.g. medical doctors and trial managers

Conduct the specified statistical analyses and interpret and report the trial results

Prepare for submission to regulatory authorities

We are seeking a candidate to join either the Rare Diseases or Cardiovascular & Kidney Diseases department. Kindly specify your primary interest between the two positions. Qualifications   The ideal candidate should have: 

Strong background in mathematics and statistics corresponding to MSc or PhD

In-depth understanding of clinical or bio-statistical research 

Proficiency in SAS, R or other programming languages

  It will be a strong advantage if you have:

Demonstrated expertise in project management and cross-functional collaboration

Experience from a global organisation in a highly regulated industry
