Do you have solid experience with pharmaceutical production, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Quality Assurance and inspections by the health authorities? Are you analytical and motivated by working in a fast-paced environment with critical cases with high business impact? If so, you may be the person we are looking for in the Product Defect Recall team. The position The job will not be easy, but it will be fun. It will surely challenge and develop your business understanding and your ability to work in a global cross functional organization, when you gather insights from your many dedicated colleagues and transform them into value in your reporting to management. Your primary responsibility will be handling critical and complex customer complaints for the marketed product portfolio of Novo Nordisk. In situations where this leads to an actual recall of products from the market, you will be responsible for ensuring fast and effective recall in close cooperation with management, the production area and one or more of Novo Nordisk’s affiliates around the world. Interaction with health authorities is also part of the job, including active participation in audits and inspections. You will also be involved in investigating counterfeit products. This job gives you a thorough understanding of all Novo Nordisk products and gives good insight into various supporting processes. Your work will ensure high quality and safe products for the patients of Novo Nordisk. You will be a part of a team of 12 dedicated colleagues, complaint and recall advisors, and report to the senior manager in the Product Defect Recall Team. Qualifications To succeed in this position we imagine that you have:
  • 3- 5 years of experience with production and/or quality assurance in the pharmaceutical or device industry.
  • An academic degree in engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related natural science discipline.
  • Excellent command of English and Danish, both oral and written.
  • You may have experience with one or several processes of pharmaceutical production (filling, assembly or packaging), audits and inspection and communication with health authorities.
  • It is an advantage if you have knowledge of Novo Nordisk product portfolio and organization, experience with handling of product defects and deviations.
  • As a person you are analytical with a robust personality, professional authority and a flexible working attitude. You enjoy coordination tasks, creating and giving presentations and you are used to the dynamics of working in projects. You take a pragmatic approach to problem solving and have strong interpersonal skills. You are organized, quality-conscious and have a mind-set to optimize and simplify processes. We expect you to be a team player thriving to work across departments in an international organization. About the department The Customer Complaint Centre Support department is responsible for prompt and thorough investigation of customer complaints from both marketed products and products used for clinical trials. On-going surveillance and trending of customer complaints in a proactively manner is essential work in the department. Effective handling of potential and actual recall situations, timely support and response to authority inspections and requests, appropriate handling of diverted cases, counterfeit, and stolen products.
