Be a part of a transformation in oral therapies working alongside talented colleagues from all over the world. Your main objective in the role as Senior/Principal Laboratory Technician will be to formulate therapeutic proteins and peptides into oral solid dosage forms, to support projects, and to collaborate closely with the scientists in the team. You will spend most of your time in the laboratory; however, you will also be responsible for processing and reporting the obtained data. Your daily routine may vary from standard tasks to more challenging and innovative work. The results of the analysis conducted are reported in English using electronic notebooks. You will also be responsible for equipment and maintenance of the equipment. You can look forward to a position with a wealth of academic and practical challenges in a team that develops formulations based on peptides and proteins. With a multitude of different nationalities in the team, both working and social language is English.
In this position, you can expect that you will: Plan and conduct experiments in the laboratory Find solutions to practical issues Take responsibility for setting up day-to-day operations, for instance setting up experiments, perform maintenance on equipment Collect and report results to scientists in the team Get the unique possibility to expand your knowledge and learn about early-stage research in an industry-setting with international colleagues The position is permanent and based at our site in Måløv, Denmark. Qualifications
You are curiosity-driven and enjoy the hands-on laboratory work. You thrive on working with both routine tasks and complex problem solving. You are well-structured in your work and used to producing high-quality reports of the data you have collected. You are a team player; have good communication skills and you share knowledge and experience freely with other members of the team.
Furthermore, qualifications are: Minimum 4 years of practical laboratory experience, including tablet manufacturing and unit processes related to tablet manufacturing spray-drying, coating, granulation processes Education as Laboratory Technician maybe with an overlayer as Bachelor of Biomedical Laboratory Science (from “Professionshøjskolen”) or equivalent Knowledge or interest within oral drug delivery technologies is an advantage Fluency in English writing and speaking As a person you thrive in a dynamic research environment being familiar with prioritization and problem solving in a laboratory context. You think and act independently and with integrity, bringing in your experience to keep the focus on the common goals of the team.
