Experienced Project Manager

You will be part of our highly experienced and competent project management team in the Fredericia office. As a project manager, your basic focus is to deliver high quality solutions, at agreed price and within budget. The products are advanced protection relays and control, management and monitoring systems with associated services, and the customers are all the big players. In addition, you will be involved in analysing the customer's plant and then going home to specify the solution/set up possible solutions. You will take the dialogue with the customer get adjusted and then manage it afterwards. You can look forward to being part of a company that is a great place to work. Your responsibilities

Work with Project Management / Digitization / Distributed automation / Engineering: participation in pre-Engineering / customer meetings regarding solution of their needs; take technical responsibility for Engineering deliverables in projects - co-ordination of colleagues and hands-on; preparing project designs based on analysis of customers' facilities; specify the engineering, propose solutions and adapt them in close dialogue with customers; manage the engineering part of the projects, both project management and hands-on; support the sales team as technical expert.
Distributed Automation (DA) deals with: protection relays for medium voltage range; DSO systems for monitoring and control of 10/0,4kV transformer stations; SCADA systems including protection relays and DSO systems.
The work with DA includes these disciplines: testing and setting up protection relays; working with the bus protocols IEC61850 (GOOSE and MMS) and IEC60870 (IEC103 and 104); working with Ethernet, routers, managed switches with time synchronization; simple RTUs with 4G modem and firewall.
In addition, there will be projects involving our other products and solutions in low and medium voltage.

Your background

Education as electrical engineer, mechanical engineer or similar and at least 2 years of experience in project management/coordination.
Ability and motivation to deliver projects in close collaboration.
At the same time, you possess a calm and positive belief that there is always a solution – so if you face adversity, just try another way.
Professionally, you have knowledge of protection relays and control systems, but deep knowledge at specialist level is not a requirement.
You know that the key to success lies very much in the ability to ensure proper alignment of expectations, including clarification of tasks. You can therefore also identify and minimize
potential risks in a project/contract. If you don't have the technical insight yourself, you manage to use your technical colleagues as sparring partners as well.
Desire and ability to proactively drive dialogue with customers and colleagues.
An excellent listener - and you know that the best solutions come through collaboration and knowledge sharing with respect for others' ideas.
Ability to think outside the box and try out new ideas.
A desire to learn new things.
