Together we can create life-changing innovation.The Position As a Senior Scientist in the department of RNA Technologies, you will be part of a growing and dedicated team. We work together with the purpose of discovering and developing RNA-based and disease-specific therapeutics. You will play a key role in the department as we drive change to discover and develop novel therapeutics using RNA modalities. With a focus on design and engineering of gain of function modalities, you will collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders and will take part in building our RNA capabilities.Qualifications You have a PhD degree in analytical/medicinal chemistry, molecular biology, bioengineering, or in a related field combined with 3-5 years of experience as a postdoc or industry working with larger RNA modalities and developing chromatography-based techniques. It would be of significant benefit to have experience with LC-MS in addition to data science capabilities. As the right person for this role, you can identify yourself with the following: expertise in working with mRNA and similar modalities using chromatography-based techniques such as HPLC and LC-MS. experience in research within RNA biology and technology. possess basic data science skills applying scripting and coding to facilitate data analysis for you and others. the technical expertise within molecular biology needed to go from concept to molecule. About the department RNA Technologies is a part of the RNA and Gene Therapies area which belongs to the Global Nucleic Acid Therapies at Novo Nordisk. We are developing curative and disease-modifying therapies for individuals living with serious chronic conditions, spearheaded via co-creational innovation with external partners. Treatment of disease mechanisms operating inside cells, including gene expression is enabled by emerging intracellular drug modalities.
