Do you want to be a key player in early-stage research? The Biophysics and Formulation area is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated colleague who shares our ambition to develop the next generation of pharmaceuticals. The position In this role, you will help with the integration of scientific data generated by the Biophysics and Formulation area, from modernising existing tools to the development of proof-of-concept web applications. Your role will be to help demonstrate the benefits of digitalisation to the end user and to act as a liaison between the people in the lab and members of the data science area to ensure that both end users and data scientists get the most out of our data. You will have the opportunity to work on projects ranging from simple scripting to support workflows to developing and showcasing initial machine learning models. Qualifications A degree in the natural or physical sciences and experience working in the laboratory Practical experience in developing and implementing sustainable code to support data analysis Proficiency in scientific programming with Python is a benefit Software engineering skills, along with experience with frontend frameworks for data visualization and browser interaction, would also be considered advantageous As a person, you are curious, have a flexible mindset, and find it motivating to work in a dynamic project environment. You enjoy helping others reach their goals and you value knowledge sharing with fellow scientists and laboratory technicians. You possess good networking and communication skills, and you are creative in finding solutions to scientific challenges. About the Department The Biophysics and Formulation area is a central part of Global Research Technologies located in Måløv, Copenhagen area, Denmark. The area is responsible for biophysical screening and early oral and injectable formulation development of peptide and protein compounds and other modalities across the entire Novo Nordisk research portfolio. We aspire to drive innovation by applying cutting-edge technology and formulation expertise, and we are currently transforming the way we work by implementing automated workflows and using data science. We work closely together with scientists within biology and technology internally at Novo Nordisk as well as with both industry and academic partners outside Novo Nordisk.
