Would you like to be a key player in one of the strategically important clinical trials in Novo Nordisk? If yes, come join us in Study Programmes, Global Medical Affairs (GMA).
We are looking for a proactive and energised professional and it is the ideal position for a science-driven professional with project management experience and a well-developed communication toolbox, who wishes to drive high impact projects in Novo Nordisk R&D. The tasks would include: Drive the formulation and execution of strategies together with external experts to ensure successful patient recruitment and retention Responsible for uptake and implementation of strategic & scientific communication and tools to support world-class patient recruitment and retention across affiliates and trial sites, as well as engagement of local experts Responsible for securing local affiliate and external insights are factored into the development and implementation of scientific communication, patient retention & trial completion tools and educational materials for participants and site staff in the trials Engagement with diverse cross-functional stakeholders and several external vendors Challenge status quo by assessing deliverables, enhancing our processes and identify new ways of achieving goals You will have the opportunity to work very closely with stakeholders from Global Medical Affairs, Medical & Science and Clinical Operations in HQ as well as colleagues in affiliates and regional centres. The position is based in the HQ office in Søborg, Denmark. Approximately 10-20 travel days a year should be expected.
Qualifications
You have a business, science or medical degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) combined with 5+ years of relevant experience from the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in both global and local roles. In addition, you have: Advanced experience in driving complex projects of a strategic nature Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with many key stakeholders up to senior management level Advanced experience in clinical or medical projects including patient engagement Ability to influence your stakeholders through building trusting relationships Flair for integrating communication and change management perspectives into any project execution Experience in communication disciplines, on- and offline Fluent in English You are motivated by ambitious targets, and you can structure and translate data into knowledge and clear communication to facilitate decision making and project progress. As a person, you are ambitious, flexible and have a strong drive for taking initiative and working both as a dedicated team player as well as independently. About the department
GMA is responsible for driving the scientific dialogue with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Health Care Professionals (HCPs). We are part of the R&D organisation in Novo Nordisk, one of the world’s most successful pharmaceutical companies and the market leader within diabetes care and obesity along with exciting development programmes in other serious chronic diseases. Study Programmes is a team of 25+ dedicated project managers.
