Then you might be our new Competency Development Specialists. We are seeking specialists with a core interest in our Biosamples and Images collected for Future Research who will act as an essential point of contact for our scientists and the trial teams. The position In this function you will collaborate closely with the trial teams in all aspects of biobanking of clinical samples and images such as Informed Consent creation, authority questions, ethical considerations, and sponsor oversight. You will also be the one point of contact for our research scientists and data scientists and assist them through all steps of the process to ensure full compliance with approvals, national/local regulations, and requirements, when the samples or images are to be used for research. Overall, in the role as biosample specialist you will act as a partner through the life cycle of the sample from collection to research use. You will contribute to the continuous optimisation of the processes and IT systems. You will be an active player in a cross-functional environment having daily interactions with many different stakeholders from all over Research & Development. Effective communication and information flow to key stakeholders are crucial, as well as facilitating knowledge sharing across the organisation. The job is based in Denmark, but the scope of work is global. The job may require travelling abroad for meetings. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have: A master’s degree in science, pharmacy, medicine, or similar and a strong command of written and spoken English. Experience within, data science, data management, biobanks and research project applications to the Research Ethics Committees or a combination of some of these qualifications. A strong insight into the value chain within a pharma company is also a plus, but not a prerequisite. in-depth IT-Skills within Office 365 and a genuine interest in embarking on new digital initiatives. a structured and well-organized approach to tasks and enjoy collaboration with a variety of colleagues across the company. In addition, you are service minded, proactive, determined and have strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as curious and have a can-do attitude. You will be part of a dynamic department with a position that offers high impact. You are expected to take ownership and responsibility to drive change and process improvements in the global organisation. About the department The position is based in the Clinical Biosample Operations team (CBIO) within Clinical Operations Office in the Clinical Operations Centre of Expertise. We are a team of 7 dedicated colleagues working globally to support and optimise operational processes for handling biosamples and images collected for Future Research in our clinical trials. As handling images is a newly established area within the department, you will have the possibility to further shape the processes and the partner role.
