The research fellow will isolate protein complexes from the nuclear envelope in cardiomyocytes and use quantitative proteomics-based approaches to identify changes in the protein networks in the cardiac disease state. The fellow will be part of a larger collaborative undertaking with two international research groups, enabling experimental work in models of the disease in addition to work with human samples.

We are seeking a highly motivated scientist to join our team. Prior knowledge of cardiomyocyte biology and/or interaction proteomics is a preference.

  • Ambitious, creative, independent and self-driven
  • Hands on skills and expert knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
    • Experimental know-how of mass spectrometry-based interaction proteomics (LC-MS/MS)
    • Analytical know-how of Mass spectrometry data analysis
    • Experimental know-how of work with cardiomyocytes
    • Experimental know-how of isolating cardiomyocyte structural components
    • Experience in quantitative proteomics approaches
