Head of IT Service Delivery

As Head of IT Service Delivery, you will be responsible for developing and maturing both the global IT Service Desk and the Onsite IT Support functions in a company with speedy growth targets. Your main task will be to build up a new, central IT Service Desk for all markets with internal resources, while continuously developing the Onsite IT Support function where relevant.

Welcome to your new team:
You will be part of IT Operations & Cybersecurity, a highly engaged team with a strong focus on service improvement and integration of new markets into our global platforms. You will lead a team of very experienced IT resources in six different European markets and will have responsibility for building our new global IT Service Desk in Vilnius, Lithuania, up from scratch.
You will collaborate with the Head of Cloud and Infrastructure and the IT Security Manager to develop a cohesive roadmap across all markets. We have global responsibilities for all infrastructure and cybersecurity services and have colleagues in many countries. Just as the business moves quickly, we also must be able to shift gears when needed, but amidst the busy atmosphere, there is also room for plenty of laughter and social events, both of which we highly value. We are part of Group IT, a very diverse department with an international presence, and you will have the opportunity to meet many new colleagues who are already looking forward to welcoming you.

As Head of IT Service Delivery, you will be responsible for developing and maturing both the global IT Service Desk and the Onsite IT Support functions in a company with speedy growth targets. Your main task will be to build up a new, central IT Service Desk for all markets with internal resources, while continuously developing the Onsite IT Support function where relevant.
Your primary task will be:
- Integrate new markets into the global IT service delivery operating model
- Develop new, central IT Service Desk in Lithuania with insourced resources
- Improve the customer experience for all Royal Unibrew employees across IT Service Desk, Onsite Support and our ITSM platform, Unihelp
- Strengthen ITIL roles and processes across all Group IT
- Engage with critical IT service providers for MDR (SOC) and other IT operational services
- Build a cohesive team across all Onsite IT Support markets and IT Service Desk
- Drive improvements in major incident management processes
Your primary areas of responsibility:
- Management of all Onsite IT Support roles across all markets, including outsourced services.
- Ownership of the shared IT Service Management platform called Unihelp
- Accountable for the IT Service Delivery roadmap and related projects, including local IT applications.
- Stakeholder alignment across all markets on service improvements
- Budgetary responsible for all local IT costs in all markets
- Motivating and appreciative leadership of your employee group with a focus on employee development, coaching, and mentoring.
- Innovating the department and its function in relation to internal customer service, global collaboration, etc
Additionally, we hope you can identify with the following wish list:
- MBA or a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar area of study with leadership development added later
- ITIL v4 foundations certification
- Project management (PRINCE2 or similar) certification
- ISO 27001 security standard framework
- Experience with managed detection and response or security operations center services
- 3+ years of experience with leading IT Service Desk and/or Onsite IT Support functions
- Strong communication skills in English and ability to inspire and educate technical and non-technical audience.
- Experienced stakeholder management skills across multiple markets
- Experience with transforming into agile ways-of-working.
- Ability to work independently with remote teams and local SME’s.
